In France, doctors are required to do continuing professional development (DPC) — it's not optional. But most training options are either in-person conferences that eat up entire weekends, or clunky e-learning platforms that feel like they were built in 2005.

ViaMedica is an online training platform focused on allergology — fully registered with the French national DPC agency (registration number 99AS). Doctors can complete their required training hours entirely online, at their own pace, from anywhere.

The catalogue includes 12 courses covering respiratory immunotherapy, severe rhinitis, difficult asthma, and anaphylaxis. Each topic comes in three formats: an observational study, a clinical audit, and a clinical case vignette — so doctors can pick the format that suits their learning style.

The deal for doctors is straightforward: the training is free and they actually get paid for it — 45 euros per validated hour, because training time is time they're not seeing patients.

Sign up, pick a course, complete the modules within 30 days. A trainer is available 7 days a week for questions. At the end, you get an official certificate and your compensation from the DPC system.
